Payment

• All major debit and credit cards accepted, cash or cheque.
• A place can only be cancelled, for whatever reason, 7 days prior to lessons commencing.
• A £20 admin fee applies to all refunds.
• Payment must be received before a swimming place is secured and in advance of your child commencing lessons.
• Places can only be held over in exceptional circumstances.
• If you have 3 children or more, the third child receives a half price discount

Age of children

• Children must be 3 1/2 years and over to attend all lessons at the swim school academy.
  

General

• All lessons must be paid for in advance
• A child’s place is booked and committed for the whole term, cancellation during the term will receive no refunds and any outstanding accounts must be paid for in full.
• Any information given to Swim School Academy, for example a child’s swimming ability or medical details will be assumed to be true and accurate, should this not be the case we will not be liable.
• Swim School Academy reserves the right to make changes to the programme where necessary, or to cancel lessons if there are insufficient numbers.
• It is the parent/carers responsibility to notify us of any illnesses, injuries or medical conditions likely to impede a child’s safety or ability to participate.
• The charges set out are for a specified time and day, there will be no refunds for cancellation, or absence whatever the reason.  Any additional lessons will be charged at the normal rate.
• We reserve the right to change times and locations for reasons beyond our control.
• It is the parent/carers responsibility for the cost of getting to and from the pool.
• We will provide swimming aids and equipment, a qualified swimming teacher for each group. Each lesson will be a maximum of 30 minutes.
•  It is the parent/ carers’ responsibility to maintain their children’s safety prior to and after their lesson and to maintain the safety of other children in their care.
•  Swim School Academy staff may occasionally video swimmers for training purposes only.  Photographs may be taken occasionally for Swim School Academy publicity.  If you have any objections please put a note on the bottom of your booking form.
•  Parents are requested not to use video or any type of camera/mobile phone in the changing rooms or poolside.  To comply with child protection recommendations.
• It has been identified in the Risk Assessment that only one parent per child should watch per week at the LB healthcare.  Other pools have a larger space on poolside and watching is possible, however please remain silent and sitting to keep the area safe.
